My Power of Attorney in Moray

Health & Social Care Moray is working with and for the communities of Moray to transform services and improve health and wellbeing.

Our partnership brings together council and NHS services under the direction of the Moray Integration Joint Board.

Our staff are creating a single, responsive and flexible health and social care which is committed to supporting people to live longer, healthier lives as independently as possible through the provision of pro-active, joined-up services.

We will ensure they are listened to, involved and take part in decisions about their care and support and how it is delivered.

We want to be recognised as a successful organisation which has a positive impact on people’s lives, continuously improves the health and social care services people use and their experience of them, while delivering value for money by using resources effectively.

Health & Social Care Moray is delighted to support the My Power of Attorney campaign and to encourage people to ne open and start the conversation about their future needs and wishes.

We want more people to be aware that should something happen to them no one will be able to make decisions and arrangements for them unless they have legally been given power to do so through a Power of Attorney.

If you currently receive health or social care services e.g. GP, district nurse, social worker, community psychiatric nurse etc, you can speak to them about how to start putting a Power of Attorney in place.

If you need an independent advocate to help you express your wishes you can get in touch with:
